Fitting
Check the cut-out size, wall or roof thickness and power supply in the specification against your vehicle before you order. Gas appliances must be fitted by a qualified gas engineer, and anything wired into 230V mains should be signed off by a qualified electrician.

Overview
Thetford T2175 Compressor Fridge Freezer
174 litres, including a 33.5-litre freezer drawer, from 0.60kWh a day. The largest Thetford T2000 fridge we list, for full-time living and larger motorhomes where the fridge is a weekly shop, not a weekend's.
- 174L total, with a separate 33.5L freezer drawer
- 0.60kWh per 24 hours on 12V
- Independent freezer control
- Capacitive touch panel with an energy-saving night mode
- Slide-out food boxes and flush door handles
- CI-BUS compatible
Powering it
0.60kWh a day is about 50Ah from a 12V battery: roughly four days from a 200Ah lithium bank without charging. For a full-time build, size solar and alternator charging to replace that every day, with margin for the rest of the van, in the Roam Wired calculator. A power station with 2kWh or more makes a good buffer.
Size
1,245mm high, 525mm wide and 613mm deep. The door is right-hinged and reversible. It needs no gas, flue or wall vents. If depth is tight, the T2160 is 50mm shallower.
