Overview
Solar Technology 200W Rigid Solar Panel Roof Kit
A complete 200W roof kit: panel, charge controller, aero brackets, cable gland and adhesive. Solar Technology's PV Logic MHD rigid panel has a water-resistant, robust construction for outdoor use on motorhome, van and boat roofs.
- 200W rigid MHD panel, 25V at 8.0A
- 20A PWM controller for 12V or 24V systems, charging one or two batteries
- Premium aero brackets bonded with the supplied elastic adhesive
- Cable entry gland for a tidy, sealed roof entry
- Built-in diode against battery discharge through the panel
What it produces
Solar Technology estimate about 1,200Wh, or 48Ah, on a good day: enough for a typical compressor fridge, lights and phone charging in summer. Output falls in winter and under cloud. With dual-battery charging it can also keep your starter battery topped up, and you can add panels in series or parallel as your needs grow. Model your summer and winter yields in the Roam Wired calculator.
Size
The panel measures 1520 × 670 × 35mm and weighs 11.8kg. Measure your roof space, allowing for roof bars, rooflights and vents, before ordering. The panel can also feed a power station with a suitable solar input.
The manufacturer's figures
Taken from the manufacturer's published specification for this model. Measure your vehicle before ordering, and have anything wired into 230V mains signed off by a qualified electrician.
