Refund policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy applies to purchases made from Roam Wired at shop.roamwired.com. For cancellations, returns, delivery problems and warranty enquiries, email jack@roamwired.com. Your seller is BUCK WILD LTD, trading as Roam Wired.
Cancelling an order or changing your mind
If you buy as a UK consumer, you can cancel most online purchases without giving a reason. Tell us before delivery or within 14 calendar days after the day you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods. If one order contains goods delivered separately, this period normally runs from receipt of the last item.
Email jack@roamwired.com with your order number and the items you wish to cancel. You may use the optional cancellation form below, but any clear statement is sufficient. Cancellation does not depend on supplier approval or obtaining a returns reference.
After notifying us, send the goods back without unnecessary delay and within a further 14 calendar days, unless we have offered to collect them. If you cancel before dispatch, we will try to stop shipment. If it has already left the supplier, we will help arrange its return.
Arranging your return
We dispatch directly from suppliers. BLUETTI dispatches BLUETTI products. Miriad Quest Leisure (MQL) dispatches all other products we sell from its warehouse in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. Return destinations vary by product. Contact us before sending anything back, so we can give you the correct supplier return address, packing instructions and any return merchandise authorisation (RMA) reference. Please do not send goods to an address printed on the parcel without checking with us.
For MQL products, we register the return with MQL for you. For a change-of-mind return, you then send the goods to the address we give you, or we can quote for a collection. For faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, we arrange the collection.
We arrange supplier communication on your behalf. A supplier's administrative procedure does not remove your legal rights or extend our refund deadline. Keep your proof of posting or collection.
Condition of change-of-mind returns
You may unpack and inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Please return all included parts, cables, manuals and accessories, and use the original packaging where available or suitable protective packaging.
Opening the box or not retaining the original packaging does not, by itself, remove your statutory cancellation right. We may deduct an evidenced reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods, where the law permits. Installation, modification or extended use may cause such a reduction, so please do not fit an item until you are sure you are keeping it. We will explain any deduction. We do not charge a restocking or administration fee for a statutory consumer cancellation.
Return delivery costs
For a change-of-mind cancellation, you pay the direct return delivery cost where we informed you of that responsibility before purchase. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, such as some power stations, batteries, refrigerators, air conditioners, awnings and pallet deliveries, the return cost or a reasonable estimate must also be disclosed before purchase. If we have not supplied information required by law, you will not be required to bear that cost.
For faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods, we pay necessary reasonable return or collection costs. If we or our supplier sent you the wrong item, we arrange its collection at no cost to you. Contact us to arrange a suitable service before booking a specialist collection.
Batteries and large appliances
Lithium batteries and power stations may require specialist carriage. Contact us for suitable return instructions and collection arrangements. Do not send a damaged, leaking or swollen battery through an ordinary parcel service. Tell us about any battery damage before arranging transport.
For installed or bulky appliances, contact us before dismantling or returning them so we can arrange assessment and discuss any removal, collection or replacement work needed. This process does not limit remedies available under consumer law.
Faulty goods, delivery damage and missing items
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If goods fail to meet these requirements, UK consumers normally have a short-term right to reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. Other rights, including repair or replacement, can continue after that period.
A repair or replacement must be provided without cost, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. If an attempt fails, or a remedy is impossible or not provided as required, you may be entitled to a price reduction or final rejection and refund. Any permitted deduction for use will follow the law, rather than a fixed supplier fee.
For a fault appearing within the first six months, the goods are generally presumed to have been faulty when delivered unless we can establish otherwise or that presumption is incompatible with the goods or fault. After six months, you may need to show that the fault was present at delivery. These periods do not mean every product has the same expected lifespan.
Please report transit damage, missing items or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery, so that we can meet our suppliers' claim deadlines. Email jack@roamwired.com with your order number, the item affected and what is wrong, and include photographs of:
- the goods, showing the damage;
- the inner packaging;
- the outer box or pallet wrapping, including the delivery label.
Keep all packaging until we have resolved the claim. If the carrier offers to unpack a large item on delivery, please accept so that you can inspect it with the driver. If it is damaged, note this with the driver and refuse the damaged item. Our Shipping policy explains large deliveries.
If an item develops a fault, stop using it and contact us. Please do not dismantle, repair or alter it, because the supplier or manufacturer may need to assess it.
Reporting later, signing for delivery or accepting the parcel does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
Refunds
For a statutory cancellation, we refund without undue delay and within 14 calendar days after being informed of your decision. Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first.
If you cancel the whole order, we also refund the least expensive standard outward delivery charge offered for that order. Any additional charge for an optional premium delivery service is not refundable under the cancellation rules. For a partial return, we refund any delivery amount required by law.
For a statutory rejection of faulty goods, we refund without undue delay and within 14 calendar days after agreeing that you are entitled to the refund. Refunds go to your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Your payment provider may take additional time to show a processed refund.
We will not make a refund owed to you conditional on receiving money back from our supplier or receiving a Shopify payout.
Returns after the cancellation period
Once the 14-day cancellation period has ended, we are not obliged to accept the return of goods that are not faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed. We may still agree to take back unused goods in their original, undamaged packaging, for example if you ordered the wrong size. For MQL products, our supplier charges a returns administration fee of £30 per order. If we agree to such a return, that fee and the return delivery cost are deducted from your refund. We will confirm the amount before you send anything back.
This does not affect your rights for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
Exceptions and additional guarantees
The change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, or goods inseparably mixed with other items after delivery. A standard catalogue item does not become non-returnable merely because a supplier orders it specially or calls it a special order. Choosing standard components for a kit does not automatically make it a bespoke item.
Where a specific statutory exception applies, we will identify it before purchase. Faulty-goods rights still apply. Sale and discounted goods have the same statutory rights as full-price goods.
Manufacturer warranty periods depend on the brand and model and are shown with the product or its warranty documentation. Not every product carries a manufacturer's warranty. We coordinate assessment and claims with BLUETTI, MQL or the manufacturer. A manufacturer's warranty is additional to your rights against Roam Wired.
An extended supplier guarantee, including a BLUETTI money-back promotion, applies to your Roam Wired purchase only if we expressly offer it with that product at the time of purchase. We do not automatically adopt guarantees advertised for purchases from a supplier's own website.

For purchases made wholly or mainly for business purposes, contact us before ordering to agree any separate business terms. Business returns of unwanted MQL products are accepted only by agreement, and the £30 administration fee per order and the return delivery cost then apply.
