How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Renogy Solar Double Cable Entry Gland
A double cable entry gland in UV-resistant ABS, for 10AWG to 6AWG cable. Renogy specify Sikaflex 252 or similar and 5.5 × 38mm self-tapping screws — belt and braces, which is the right approach for a hole in a roof.
- Two cable entries, 10AWG to 6AWG
- UV-resistant ABS
- 182 × 94 × 40mm (7.15 × 3.72 × 1.57in)
- Recommended adhesive: Sikaflex 252 or equivalent
- Matching screws: 5.5 × 38mm self-tapping
- 5-year material and workmanship warranty
Bond and screw, not one or the other
Renogy specify both an adhesive and a screw size, and that is deliberate. The adhesive does the sealing; the screws stop the housing peeling at motorway speed while the adhesive is young or if it degrades. Screwing without bedding in sealant gives you four new leak paths, so do both.
Check the cable range
The glands take 10AWG (6mm²) to 6AWG (16mm²). That covers typical solar runs comfortably. If you are pulling something heavier through — or something much thinner — the gland will not seal properly around it, and an unsealed gland is worse than no gland because it channels water.
Before you order
Sikaflex 252 is a structural adhesive, not a bathroom sealant — buy the specified product or a genuine equivalent, and check its cure time before you plan to drive.
