How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Solar Adaptor Kit (Solar panel to Charge Controller )
Panel-to-controller leads: solar connectors one end, bare tails the other. The pair of cables that gets power off the roof and into the charge controller, in the length and gauge your run actually needs rather than the one that came in the box.
- Solar connectors (male and female) at the panel end
- Bare tails for the controller's screw terminals
- 0.2m, 3m, 6m and 9m lengths
- 10AWG (6mm²) or 12AWG (4mm²)
- Weatherproof, rated for temperature extremes
Choosing the gauge
Volt drop on the panel side costs you harvest directly — every volt lost in the cable is a volt the MPPT controller never sees. For runs under about three metres on a 200W array, 12AWG is fine. Go longer than that, or up to 400W, and 10AWG is the sensible choice. When in doubt, the heavier cable is the cheaper mistake.
Getting through the roof
These leads terminate in solar connectors, which are chunky. Plan the cable entry gland around the connector size, or thread the cable before fitting the connectors. Cutting a gland too small and forcing the plug through is how roof leaks start.
Before you order
Measure the full route — up and over the roof rib, down the wardrobe, along the floor — not the straight line. The 0.2m version is for panel-to-panel links rather than reaching the controller.
