Why it is worth the money
A PUH inverter draws 12–18W simply by being switched on, which is several hundred watt-hours a day if you leave it running. The single most effective thing you can do about that is make it trivially easy to turn off — and an inverter bolted behind a bed slat or under a bench is not trivially easy to turn off. A remote by the door or above the worktop turns a daily annoyance into a habit.
Before you order
Check the series: this fits the PUH inverters, not the PCL inverter chargers, which use a different remote. Plan the cable run to wherever you actually want the switch before you fix the inverter in place.
