How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Renogy LP16 Plug (7-Pin) 10Ft Communication Cable
A 3m CAN communication cable with 7-pin LP16 plugs at both ends. The link that lets REGO devices talk to each other over RV-C — which is what turns a set of separate components into a system.
- 7-pin LP16 connectors at both ends
- 3m (10ft)
- Connects to any CAN communication port on a REGO product
- Enables RV-C communication between REGO devices
What the devices do once they can talk
With a communication link in place, a REGO battery can tell the charger what it actually wants rather than the charger inferring it from terminal voltage. The charging profile adjusts dynamically, which is both safer for the cells and more effective — particularly at the top of a charge, where voltage-only charging tends to stop short.
Plan the topology, not just the cable
CAN is a bus, not a star. Devices chain from one to the next, and unused ports at the end of the chain want a terminator plug to stop signal reflections. Work out the order of devices and the distances before buying cables, or you will end up with the wrong lengths.
Before you order
Three metres is enough to link two devices mounted in the same cupboard or on the same bulkhead. If the battery is under a bed and the charger is in the wardrobe, measure first — the 23ft version exists for a reason.
