How buying this works

Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.

We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money

Delivery and returns

Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.

Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.

Warranty and support

The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview

200 Watt 12 Volt Flexible Monocrystalline Solar Panel

200W of flexible panel at 4.9kg and 3mm thick. A 1.6-metre semi-flexible sheet that follows a curved roof — the most output you can get from a bonded-down panel without brackets.

  • 200W at STC, 16.7% module efficiency
  • 4.9kg, 1605 × 748 × 3mm
  • Vmp 20.1V, Voc 23.9V
  • 72 monocrystalline cells
  • IP68 junction box, IP67 solar connectors
  • 12AWG output cables

Weight versus longevity

4.9kg for 200W is about half what the equivalent rigid panels weigh, and on a small van that is the whole argument. The counter-argument is heat: bonded flat, a flexible panel runs hotter than a bracket-mounted one, and heat is what shortens its life. If the roof is flat enough to take brackets, rigid panels will outlast this comfortably.

Fitting a 1.6m sheet

Long flexible panels are awkward to handle and easy to crease — a crease is a cracked cell. Lay it out, dry-fit it, and have a second pair of hands. Bond with an adhesive rated for the roof material and the temperature swing, and leave airflow underneath wherever the roof profile allows.

Before you order

Measure the roof properly: 1605mm is longer than many people expect, and it needs to clear vents, bars and the gutter line. Junction box is IP68 and connectors IP67, so the panel itself copes with British weather — the adhesive joint is the part that needs care.
