How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
200W 16BB N-Type High Efficiency Monocrystalline Solar Panel
200W at 20.7% efficiency, with a 31V operating voltage. A 24V nominal panel — which means MPPT only, and which is exactly what you want for a long cable run from the roof. Also sold as a 175W, with or without Z brackets.
- 200W at STC, 20.7% module efficiency
- 16BB N-type cells
- Vmp 31.03V, Voc 37.44V, Imp 6.46A, Isc 6.85A
- −40°C to 85°C operating range
- 10.6kg, 1262 × 764 × 30mm
- 10-year material warranty, 25-year 80% output warranty
This needs an MPPT controller
With Vmp at 31V this is not a 12V nominal panel. On a PWM controller it would be dragged down to battery voltage and you would lose roughly a third of the output. On MPPT the high voltage is an advantage: the controller converts the surplus into charge current, and the higher voltage means lower current in the roof cable.
Why higher voltage helps on a van
At 6.46A of operating current, a 200W panel at 31V pushes far less current down the cable than a 12V panel of the same wattage would. Less current means less volt drop and thinner, cheaper cable from the roof to the controller — which matters on a long-wheelbase van or a motorhome.
Before you order
Voc of 37.44V rises further on a cold, bright morning, so check your controller's input ceiling before putting two in series — that is nearly 75V at standard conditions. The Z-bracket option is worth taking if you have not already sourced mounts.
