Fitting
Check the cut-out size, wall or roof thickness and power supply in the specification against your vehicle before you order. Gas appliances must be fitted by a qualified gas engineer, and anything wired into 230V mains should be signed off by a qualified electrician.

Overview
Quest Ice Chill Split Air Conditioner & Heater
1,460W of cooling or heating from 560W of power, with no hole in the roof. The Quest Ice Chill is a mobile split system: the indoor unit conditions the air, the outdoor unit sits outside, and it all plugs in with the supplied BS plug.
- Cooling and heating at 1,460W (5,000 BTU/h) each
- 560W input, 2.5A: easy on any campsite hook-up
- Split design: separate indoor and outdoor units for quieter running inside
- EER 2.6 (A) and COP 2.6 (A+) efficiency ratings
- R290 refrigerant, a lower-impact natural gas
- Wi-Fi app or remote, auto swing, adjustable fan and a 24-hour timer
Where it fits
For caravans, motorhomes and campervans where a roof-mounted unit is not an option, or for owners who only want air conditioning some of the time. The outdoor unit is rated IPX4 against splashing water from any direction, and the kit includes the accessories to set it up.
Powering it
At 2.5A it is the lightest-drawing unit in our air conditioning range, comfortable even on a 6A pitch with other loads running. It is a 230V appliance, so it needs hook-up, a generator or a power station with a suitably rated inverter. Check the combination in the Roam Wired calculator.
