Overview
Lippert Electric Bed Lifting System
Raise the bed to the ceiling in the day and lower it at night, so one floor space works as both lounge and bedroom. Lippert's electric lift fits completely under the bed frame and can sit over a rear garage, a dinette or the cab seats.
- Lifts up to 60kg, with a 400kg static rating once the bed is down
- Beds up to 2000 × 1600mm
- Complete lift mechanism: motor unit, stabilisation rails, shafts, fixing plates and 4m belts
- Manual handle to move the bed if the motor ever can't
- Steel and aluminium construction
Bed frame
This is the lifting system. The bed frame and slats aren't included: pair it with Lippert's Smart Bed frame or build your own, keeping within the 60kg lifting limit. Leave access to the motor so the manual handle can be used.
Powering it
The motor draws about 4A while the bed moves, a little more for a moment as it starts, so wire it for 10A. It only runs while the bed is moving, so daily battery use is negligible. Add it to your plan in the Roam Wired calculator. Ask us if you'd like help planning the frame.
The manufacturer's figures
