Dometic CoolMatic CD30 Drawer Fridge
A 30-litre compressor fridge in a drawer just 250mm high, with a cooling unit that can sit up to 1.5m away. The CoolMatic CD30 is built for the spaces a cabinet fridge cannot use: under a bed, beneath a seat or at the base of a kitchen unit.

Why a drawer
Cold air stays in a drawer when it opens rather than spilling out as it does from an upright door, and everything is visible from above. The drawer unlocks and opens in one movement and locks itself shut, so it stays closed on rough roads.
Fitting
Because the cooling unit detaches and can mount up to 1.5m away, the drawer itself fits tight spaces, while the compressor goes wherever there is ventilation and room. It runs on 12 or 24V. Plan the cable and fuse in the Roam Wired calculator. For a larger drawer fridge, see the Thetford T2095E.
