Typical UK generation
| Conditions | Daily yield |
|---|---|
| June, clear, angled | 400 to 500Wh |
| June, overcast | 120 to 180Wh |
| April and September, clear | 250 to 350Wh |
| December, clear | 70 to 115Wh |
On a clear summer day this panel generates more than an EB3A or AC2P holds, so the system runs continuously without a hookup.
Where it fits
Pairs with the EB3A, AC2P and Premium 30 V2 for weekends, festivals, roof tents and second vehicles. Also the sensible first panel while a conversion is still being built, running tools and lighting in a shell with no electrics fitted yet.
Sizing
For a conversion running a compressor fridge as its main load, the PV200 or PV350 is the correct panel. The EB3A and PV100 system saves 40 pounds against the individual prices.
The numbers that matter in a van
Figures from Bluetti's published specification. Anything wired into 230V mains should be signed off by a qualified electrician.
