Overview

Bluetti AC180P Portable Power Station

1,440Wh, 1,800W, and 11 output ports. The best value power station for a weekend and long trip conversion, and the smallest unit we would specify for a build running a compressor fridge.

  • 1,440Wh LiFePO4 capacity
  • 1,800W rated output, 2,700W power lifting for kettles and hobs
  • 11 output ports, AC, USB-C PD, USB-A and regulated 12V DC
  • 0 to 80% in 45 minutes from a 1,440W AC input
  • Four charging routes, mains, solar, vehicle and generator
  • Full app control and consumption monitoring

Eleven ports, no adapter bag

Most conversions accumulate a nest of adapters because the unit has three sockets and eight things to charge. The AC180P has AC outlets, 100W USB-C PD, USB-A and regulated 12V DC on the front panel, so the fridge, laptop, phones, lights and fan all connect directly.

Pair it with solar

The AC180P and PV200 system covers a weekend build's full daily draw on any clear day from April to September, and saves 100 pounds against buying separately.

Laptop on its mains charger (60W) 20 hours

Worked out from rated capacity at the average draw shown, allowing 85% inverter efficiency for mains loads and 95% for 12V and USB loads. A kettle boil assumes 1 litre from cold. Real figures vary with temperature, duty cycle and cable losses, so run your own build through the calculator.
