How buying this works

Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.

We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money

Delivery and returns

Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.

Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.

Warranty and support

The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview

Solar Panel Extension Cable with Male to Female Connectors

A pre-made extension lead in 10AWG (6mm²), 1.5m to 6m. Male and female solar connectors already fitted, so it plugs straight between the panel and the controller without a crimping tool in sight.

  • 10AWG (6mm²) conductor
  • 1.5m, 3m, 4.5m and 6m lengths
  • Male and female solar connectors fitted
  • TUV tested, UV resistant and waterproof
  • Rated 600/1000V

Why 10AWG rather than thinner

Volt drop on the panel side is a direct loss — whatever the cable takes, the controller never sees. 6mm² keeps that loss small on the runs vans actually need, which after routing around a roof rib and down a wardrobe is usually longer than the tape measure suggested. Thinner cable is cheaper and costs you harvest every sunny day for the life of the van.

Panel to panel, or panel to controller

The same lead works for both: extending from the array down to the controller, or spacing two panels further apart on the roof. Because the connectors lock, a properly mated joint is weatherproof without additional sealing.

Before you order

Measure the real route including bends and the drop through the roof gland. Buying one length longer than you think you need is almost always the right call — coiling surplus is free, splicing extra is not.
