How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
New Edition Voyager 20A PWM Waterproof Solar Charge Controller
A 20A PWM controller rated IP67 — it can get wet. The Voyager is the one for an exposed mounting position: a trailer, a boat locker, a horsebox, or anywhere spray and condensation would kill an ordinary controller.
- 20A PWM, 12V and 24V
- IP67, withstands spray, rain and condensation
- 4-stage charging, bulk, absorption, float and equalisation
- Four battery types, sealed/AGM, gel, flooded and lithium
- Lithium awakening for over-discharged packs
- Backlit LCD, watertight housing
Set it manually for lithium
Auto-detection of 12V or 24V only applies to non-lithium chemistries. With a LiFePO4 bank you need to select the battery type and voltage yourself — Renogy are explicit about this, and getting it wrong means either chronic undercharging or a controller trying to equalise a lithium pack, which you do not want.
Where IP67 earns its keep
Most controllers are IP32: fine in a cupboard, ruined by a leaking roof vent. IP67 means temporary immersion, so this survives the places that actually get wet. If your controller is going inside a dry habitation space, you are paying for protection you will not use — a Rover MPPT will harvest more for similar money.
Before you order
20A on PWM at 12V is roughly a 260W array before the controller becomes the limit. The temperature sensor is a separate option and worth adding for a battery mounted away from the controller.
