How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Lightweight Portable Solar Suitcase
A folding suitcase panel in 100W, 220W, 300W and 400W. Rigid-framed, high cell efficiency, and light for the output — the 100W is 4.02kg and the 220W only 6.5kg.
- 100W, 220W, 300W and 400W versions
- Cell efficiency up to 25%
- −40°C to 85°C operating range on the 100W
- 100W: 4.02kg, folds to 523 × 625 × 40mm
- 220W: 6.5kg, folds to 588 × 573 × 83mm
- 300W: 8.5kg, folds to 588 × 745 × 80mm
Weight per watt is the story
6.5kg for 220W is roughly half what the rigid N-type suitcase weighs per watt, achieved with cells rated at 25% efficiency. If you intend to deploy a panel regularly rather than leave it out, the difference between carrying 6.5kg and 13kg decides whether it gets used.
Check the voltage of the size you pick
These are not all the same electrically. The 100W runs at Vmp 18.7V — straightforward 12V nominal. The 300W runs at Vmp 25.2V, which needs an MPPT controller to use properly. Match the controller to the version you order rather than assuming they behave alike.
Before you order
Renogy list this page in four sizes; confirm which one you are ordering on their page, since the dimensions, weight and voltages all differ. Maximum series fuse rating is 15A across the range.
