Overview
Male to Female Solar Extension Cable( A Pair)
Solar extension leads in 0.5m to 6m, in 10AWG or 12AWG. Male and female connectors fitted at each end, so they extend a panel lead or link two panels without any assembly.
- 0.5m, 1.5m, 3m, 4.5m and 6m lengths
- 10AWG (6mm²) and 12AWG (4mm²) gauges

Choose the gauge by run length
Volt drop on the panel side is energy you never see. For runs up to about 3m on a 200W array, 12AWG (4mm²) is adequate. Beyond that, or on a 400W array, go to 10AWG (6mm²). The extra cost is small and it is paid back every sunny day for the life of the vehicle.
Measure the real route
Roof to controller is never a straight line. Over the roof rib, through the gland, down inside the wardrobe, along behind the units — the actual run is usually half as long again as people estimate. Buy one size up and coil the surplus neatly; splicing in extra later is the worse outcome.
Before you order
The 0.5m version is intended for panel-to-panel links rather than reaching the controller. All lengths come as a pair, which is what you need for positive and negative.
