How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
RENOGY IP67 50A DC-DC Battery Charger with MPPT
IP67, 97% efficient, 50A at 12V, and only 37.5mm deep. The sealed version of Renogy's dual-input charger — rated for temporary immersion, so it can be mounted underfloor or in a wet locker where every other unit in the range cannot.
- 50A at 12V (25A at 24V), 720W
- MPPT solar input to 50V DC
- 97% charging efficiency
- IP67, −35°C to 80°C operating range
- Modbus and RV-C communication
- 1.86kg, 178.2 × 121.5 × 37.5mm
Where you can put it
This is the practical difference. IP67 and an 80°C ceiling mean the charger can live under the floor, in a rear garage, or in a locker that takes road spray — which is often the only place left once the bank, inverter and fuse board have taken the cupboard. At 37.5mm deep it also fits behind panelling that will not take the 96mm 50A unit.
A 50V solar input is genuinely useful
Where the compact 40A unit tops out at 30V, this accepts up to 50V, which means you can wire two 12V nominal panels in series without worrying about cold-morning open-circuit voltage. Series wiring keeps current down, so the cable from the roof can be thinner over a long run.
Before you order
97% efficiency is high, but 50A still makes heat — the sealed case relies on conduction to whatever it is bolted to, so mount it to something metallic where you can. Fuses at 75–100A both ends, terminals 8AWG to 4AWG.
