How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

High frequency, and what you give up
A high-frequency inverter charger uses a small switching transformer rather than a heavy iron one. The gain is obvious the moment you lift it: 7.2kg against 23kg for a comparable low-frequency unit, and a case thin enough to fit behind panelling. What you trade is surge endurance — note the surge figures step down from 4,000W to 2,400W over 35 seconds. For kettles, laptops and induction that is fine. For a big compressor or a power tool with a hard start, a low-frequency unit holds up better.
Three boxes in one
Inverter, mains charger and automatic transfer switch together means one install, one set of heavy cables, and sockets that simply work whether you are on hookup or on battery. The alternative — separate inverter, separate charger, separate changeover — costs more in cable and cupboard space than the price difference suggests.
Before you order
Under 10W no-load is genuinely good for this class, but it is still 240Wh a day if left on permanently. Mount it with airflow: output derates as ambient temperature climbs past 30°C. Any 230V wiring should be signed off by a qualified electrician.
