How buying this works

Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.

We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money

Delivery and returns

Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.

Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.

Warranty and support

The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview

Core - 12V 300Ah Core Series Deep Cycle Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery w/Self-Heating

300Ah, 3,840Wh, and a charge range that runs down to −20°C. The self-heating version of Renogy's 300Ah Core pack. If the battery lives somewhere that actually gets cold — an underfloor locker, a garage, an uninsulated bench — this is the one that keeps taking charge through a British winter.

  • 300Ah / 3,840Wh at 12.8V nominal
  • Charges from −20°C to 55°C, self-heating
  • 5,000 cycles to 80% depth of discharge
  • 200A continuous charge and discharge, 390A peak for 5 seconds
  • IP65, M8 terminal bolts
  • 27.5kg, 522 × 240 × 219mm

Why the heating matters here

A standard LiFePO4 pack simply refuses charge below 0°C to protect the cells. In practice that means a van parked out in January stops banking alternator and solar input on exactly the days it most needs to. Renogy quote a −20°C charge floor on this pack, which covers any UK winter and most of a European one.

Sizing the bank

3,840Wh is a large single-case bank — enough that most full-time builds running a compressor fridge, a diesel heater, lighting and laptops stop thinking about capacity and start thinking about how fast they can put it back. Pair it with a 50A or 60A DC-DC charger so a day's driving makes a real dent.

Before you order

27.5kg in a 522 × 240 × 219mm case. Check locker dimensions and remaining payload, and secure it properly — an unrestrained battery of this mass is a serious hazard in a crash.
