BT-1 Bluetooth Module for Renogy Products w/ RS232 Port
Bluetooth for any compatible Renogy controller with an RJ12 port. Plug it in and the controller's settings and output move to your phone — which on a controller mounted behind a panel is the difference between monitoring the system and ignoring it.

Monitoring you will actually do
A charge controller's own display tells you plenty, but only if you can see it. Once the controller is behind a bulkhead or under a bed, most people stop looking — and stop noticing that a panel connector has failed or the array is producing half what it should. A phone app you can check from the driving seat gets used, which is the entire value.
Settings as well as readings
The app changes controller parameters as well as reporting them, so setting a lithium charge profile or adjusting absorption voltage does not mean crouching in a cupboard with a manual and four buttons.
Before you order
Check which port your controller has. The BT-1 is the RJ12 / RS232 module; controllers with an RJ45 RS485 port need the BT-2 instead. Range is line-of-sight — through a metal van body expect rather less than 25m.
