How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Battery to Charge Controller Tray Cables
A matched pair of cables, battery rings one end, bare tails the other. The link between the charge controller and the battery — the run people improvise with whatever is in the box and then wonder why the controller never quite reaches absorption voltage.
- Pre-terminated with battery ring lugs at one end
- 2.4m (8ft) in 4AWG, 8AWG or 10AWG, or 4.8m (16ft) in 10AWG
- TUV tested, UV resistant
- Rated for output in high-temperature conditions
Pick the gauge for the run, not the current
The controller only regulates what arrives at its terminals. Undersize this cable and the volt drop means the battery sits below the voltage the controller thinks it is delivering, so it never completes a charge cycle properly. As a rule, go heavier than feels necessary: 4AWG (25mm²) for a 40A-plus controller or a long run, 8AWG (10mm²) for a typical 20–30A install over a couple of metres.
Fuse it
This cable connects directly to a battery, so it needs a fuse at the battery end sized to the cable, not to the controller. That fuse is protecting the cable from a short, not protecting the controller from the battery.
Before you order
Check which end your controller needs — these arrive with rings for the battery and bare tails for the controller's screw terminals. Measure the actual route including the bends, not the straight-line distance.
