How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Battery Temperature Sensor for Voyager Charge Controllers
The temperature sensor made specifically for Voyager charge controllers. Same job as the standard sensor — measuring battery temperature so the controller can compensate its charge voltage — but it fits the waterproof Voyager range and nothing else.
- Compatible only with Voyager charge controllers
- Provides temperature compensation from ambient battery temperature
- Optimises charge voltage across seasonal temperature swings
Does a lithium bank need this?
Generally no. Renogy note that most lithium batteries do not require temperature compensation, and that a LiFePO4 pack charges safely between −20°C and 55°C with its own BMS reducing or stopping charge current below 0°C. If your bank is lithium with a working BMS, this sensor solves a problem you do not have. If it is AGM, gel or flooded, it solves a real one.
Where it makes a difference
A lead acid bank in an unheated locker spends the winter being undercharged, because the controller is targeting a voltage suited to a warm battery. Compensation corrects that, and chronic undercharging is the single biggest killer of lead acid banks in vehicles.
Before you order
Check the controller: this is the Voyager-specific sensor, and the Rover, Adventurer and Wanderer controllers take the other one. Mount it against the battery case, not beside it.
