How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Adventurer Li 30A PWM Flush Mount Charge Controller w/ LCD
A 30A PWM controller that flush-mounts into the wall. The Adventurer Li is the one you fit when you want the display to look like part of the van rather than a box screwed to a cupboard door — with a programmable lithium charge voltage and an RS232 port for Bluetooth.
- 30A PWM, 12V and 24V systems
- Flush mount, surface-mount bracket also included
- Programmable lithium charge voltage
- RS232 port for the BT-1 Bluetooth module
- Backlit LCD, common-negative ground
PWM, and when that is the right answer
A PWM controller pulls the panel down to battery voltage rather than converting the excess, so it harvests less than MPPT from the same array — the gap widens in cold, bright weather and on longer cable runs. What it gives you back is lower cost and simplicity. For a single 100W panel keeping a battery topped up, PWM is perfectly sensible. For a 400W roof that has to carry a fridge through a British winter, buy MPPT and stop reading.
Flush mounting
Cutting the aperture is the part to plan. Pick a panel you can get behind for the cable, and somewhere you will actually glance at — next to the habitation door or over the worktop rather than inside a wardrobe. If you change your mind, the included surface-mount attachment lets you hang it on the wall instead.
Before you order
The BT-1 module is a separate purchase and is what turns this into something you can read from your phone. Lithium users should set the charge voltage deliberately rather than relying on auto-detection.
