How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
Battery Inverter Cables 5ft/1.5M 4AWG/25mm² for 3/8 in Lugs
A pair of 1.5m battery-to-inverter cables with 3/8in lugs, in 4AWG or 4/0AWG. The short, heavy link that does the actual work in an inverter install — chosen by gauge to match the inverter, not by what fits the hole.
- 1.5m (5ft) pair, 4AWG (25mm²) or 4/0AWG
- 3/8in lugs
- Flexible, resistant to chemicals, oil and moisture
- Designed to meet UL and NEC test requirements
- Suits UL 1778 uninterruptible power supply wiring
Choosing between 4AWG and 4/0AWG
4AWG (25mm²) suits an inverter up to roughly 1,500–2,000W on a short run. 4/0AWG is a very different animal — the right choice for a 3,000W unit, where continuous current approaches 270A. Undersizing here shows up as voltage sag and a warm cable, both of which get worse over time as terminations oxidise.
Short is good
1.5m is deliberately short. An inverter belongs as close to the battery as the layout permits, because losses on the DC side are proportional to length and current, and the current here is very high. If you are planning a five-metre run to put the inverter somewhere convenient, reconsider the layout instead of buying longer cable.
Before you order
Confirm your inverter and battery terminals both accept 3/8in lugs. Fuse the positive at the battery end, sized to the cable.
