How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
500A Battery Monitor with Shunt/Sampler (Coulomb meter)
A 500A shunt monitor with ±1% accuracy and a 6m display lead. The instrument that tells you what the battery is actually doing — in amps and percent, not in a voltage reading you have to interpret.
- ±1% accuracy on voltage, current and capacity
- 10–120V working voltage
- High and low capacity alarms with flashing backlight
- Lead acid (AGM, gel), LiFePO4, lithium-ion and NiMH
- 6m shielded display lead, LCD 99 × 61 × 18mm
- Preset capacity 0.1–9999Ah, 1–2mA standby
Why voltage alone is not enough on lithium
A LiFePO4 pack holds almost the same terminal voltage from 80% charge down to 20%. That flat curve is excellent for running appliances and useless for judging how much is left. A shunt counts every amp in and out, so you get a real percentage and a real time-to-empty — the difference between guessing and knowing whether you can run the kettle before you drive.
Fitting it
The shunt goes in the negative line between the battery's negative terminal and everything else in the system. Everything — loads, chargers, solar, the lot. Miss one circuit and it becomes invisible to the monitor, and your percentage quietly drifts wrong over a week.
Before you order
Set the battery capacity correctly on first use, then charge to full so the monitor has a reference point. The 6m lead is generous but measure your run from the battery to wherever you want the display.
