It needs a proper MPPT controller
Vmp of 33.6V is well above 12V nominal, so a PWM controller would waste roughly half of this panel's potential. Pair it with an MPPT controller rated for at least 400W at 12V — a 40A Rover or better. The high voltage is an advantage once you have the right controller: less current, thinner extension cable.
1.65 metres square, deployed
Unfolded this covers 2.6 square metres, which is a large footprint on a pitch and needs somewhere it will not be walked on or blown over. Peg or weight the corners: a 400W blanket is an effective sail in a gust.
Before you order
No controller included. The two-year material warranty reflects laminated construction — stored carefully between uses it will last well, left out permanently it will not match a framed panel.
