How buying this works

Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.

We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money

Delivery and returns

Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.

Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.

Warranty and support

The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview

Pro 12V 3000W HF Inverter Charger

3,000W high-frequency inverter charger with a 120A charger stage. The largest charger output in the Pro range — for a big lithium bank that you want genuinely full after a short stop on hookup.

  • 3,000W continuous, 6,000W surge
  • 230V AC, 50/60Hz ±0.1Hz
  • 5–120A charger, adjustable in 5A steps
  • Over 91% peak efficiency, THD under 4%
  • Under 10W no-load, 20ms maximum transfer
  • 7.9kg, 432.4 × 305 × 123.8mm

120A changes what hookup is for

At 120A a 300Ah bank goes from half to full in under ninety minutes. That turns a lunchtime stop at a site with electric into a real charging opportunity rather than a trickle — particularly valuable between November and February, when the roof contributes very little and driving is the only other option.

Two limits to respect

First, your battery's maximum charge current: several packs cap at 100A or 150A across all sources, so 120A from the charger alone may exceed what the BMS will accept. Second, the site supply — 120A at 12V is roughly 1.5kW drawn from the bollard, so throttle it down on a 6A pitch.

Before you order

The 8A transfer switch caps pass-through shore power at around 1.8kW, as on the 2,000W Pro. At 3,000W output the DC side pulls around 270A, so the battery cable and fuse need to be sized for that over a short run. 230V work should be certified by a qualified electrician.
