How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
3000W 12V Solar Inverter Pure Sine Wave DC to AC for Camper Van Motorhome Off-Grid
3,000W continuous, 6,000W surge, with automatic mains transfer. Renogy list this as their campervan and motorhome inverter — it is the same PUH-series 3,000W unit, presented for off-grid vehicle use.
- 3,000W continuous, 6,000W surge
- Pure sine wave, 50Hz ±0.3
- Automatic transfer to mains in under 50ms
- 90% maximum efficiency
- Low-voltage shutdown at 10V, high-voltage at 16.3V
- 6.4kg, 482 × 220 × 92mm
What 3,000W lets you do
An induction hob, a microwave and a kettle, without planning which one goes on first. That is the real reason to go to 3,000W in a van — not because you need the headline figure, but because you stop having to think about load management every time you cook.
The battery has to keep up
At 12V, 3,000W is roughly 270A of continuous draw. Several packs cap their continuous discharge at 100A or 150A, which means the inverter will shut down long before it reaches its rating. Pair this with a 200A-capable bank, and size the cable and fuse for the full current — short runs of heavy cable, properly crimped lugs, and a fuse that will actually clear a fault.
Before you order
Working range is 0°C to 40°C, and 1.5A of static draw means around 18W whenever it is switched on. Fit it inside the insulated space with ventilation, on a switched circuit. Any 230V wiring in the vehicle should be signed off by a qualified electrician.
