200A/300A/400A ANL Fuse Set w/ Fuse
ANL fuse and holder in 200A, 300A and 400A, with an ignition-protected cover. The high-current protection that belongs between a big lithium bank and an inverter — the single most important fuse in the vehicle.

Ignition protection is not a marketing word
A fuse interrupting hundreds of amps produces an arc. Ignition-protected construction contains it, which is why this class of fuse is specified for boats and enclosed vehicle spaces where flammable vapour could conceivably be present. In a van with a gas locker or a fuel-fired heater, it is the right specification rather than a nice-to-have.
Sizing for an inverter
Work from the DC current, not the AC rating. A 2,000W inverter at 12V draws roughly 180A continuous, so a 200A fuse is marginal and a 300A is the sensible choice. A 3,000W inverter pulls around 270A and wants the 400A. In every case the cable must be rated above the fuse.
Before you order
You will also need a fuse cable with the right ring terminals to link the holder to the battery, and a way to mount the holder securely close to the battery post.
