How buying this works

Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.

We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money

Delivery and returns

Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.

Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.

Warranty and support

The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview

12V 30A Dual Battery Charging 100W Solar Flex Bundle

A 30A dual-battery charger with MPPT solar input, bundled with a 100W flexible panel. It charges the leisure bank while you drive, trickle-charges the starter battery, and keeps charging from solar when you stop.

  • 30A DC-DC charging from the alternator
  • Trickle charges the starter battery as well as the leisure bank
  • MPPT solar input built in
  • 100W flexible panel included
  • Charges while driving and while parked

The starter battery is the point

Most dual-charging setups look after the leisure bank and forget the vehicle battery — which is why so many converted vans need a jump start after a fortnight standing. This bundle trickle-charges the starter too, so the van still starts after a long stop. On a vehicle with an alarm, a tracker and a dashcam quietly drawing current, that is worth real money.

One box, three sources

Alternator, solar and the starter battery all managed by a single unit means one set of cable runs and one device arbitrating between them. Compared with a separate DC-DC charger, separate solar controller and a battery maintainer, it is less to install and less to go wrong.

Before you order

30A suits a 100–200Ah leisure bank. The 100W flexible panel is a supplementary source rather than a primary one — useful for holding charge, not for running a fridge through a cloudy week. Bonded flat, flexible panels run hot and have a shorter service life than rigid ones.
