How buying this works

Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.

We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money

Delivery and returns

Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.

Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.

Warranty and support

The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview

ShadowFlux 120W Anti-shading N-Type Solar Panel

120W of anti-shading N-type panel in a 1052 × 578mm frame, with Z brackets included. The small ShadowFlux — for roofs where a 200W module will not fit but you still want shade tolerance.

  • 120W at STC
  • ShadowFlux anti-shading N-type cells
  • Vmp 28.89V, Voc 33.69V, Imp 4.21A, Isc 4.57A
  • Z brackets included on most options
  • 6.80kg, 1052 × 578 × 30mm
  • 25-year 80% output warranty

Shade tolerance is worth more than watts on a van roof

Every van roof has obstructions — a Maxxair, a satellite dome, a roof bar, an aerial — and the shadows they cast move across the panels all day. On a conventional module, a shadow across one cell drags down the whole string it belongs to. ShadowFlux construction confines the loss to the shaded area, which on a cluttered roof is often worth more real energy than a higher headline wattage.

Needs MPPT

Vmp of 28.89V is well above 12V nominal, so this wants an MPPT controller to convert the surplus voltage into charge current. On PWM you would waste a third of it.

Before you order

Note the material warranty here is five years, against ten on the 200W ShadowFlux — though both carry the same 25-year output warranty. Maximum series fuse rating is 15A.
