How buying this works
Roam Wired does not stock this item. The button above hands you over to the seller's own shop, where you place the order, pay and arrange delivery directly with them. Nothing is added to a Roam Wired basket, and we never see your payment details.
We list it because it is the part our calculator would specify for a build like yours, not because we make the most on it. How we make money
Delivery and returns
Delivery cost, delivery time and the returns window are set by the seller, not by us, and Roam Wired's own £10 / free-over-£250 UK delivery does not apply here. Check their delivery and returns terms on their product page before you order.
Your consumer rights, including the 14-day right to cancel a distance sale, are against the seller who took your order.
Warranty and support
The manufacturer's warranty is handled by the seller you buy from. If something fails, raise it with them and quote their order number — we cannot open a claim on your behalf.

Overview
10A/16A/32A/50A/63A 1P DC Miniature Circuit Breaker
A DIN-rail DC circuit breaker in 10A to 63A, with thermal and magnetic tripping. A resettable alternative to a fuse — and a switch, so you can isolate a circuit for maintenance without pulling a fuse out with pliers.
- 10A, 16A, 32A, 50A and 63A versions
- Thermal and magnetic tripping mechanisms
- Switchable under full rated load without damage
- Reversible connection, works with bidirectional current
- Indicator window shows contact position
- Clips to standard DIN rail
Why bidirectional matters in a solar system
Current in a van flows both ways through the same conductors — solar in, loads out, alternator in, inverter out. A breaker that only works in one direction is the wrong part, and some cheap DC breakers are exactly that. This one is specified for either orientation, which removes a whole category of installation mistake.
Breaker or fuse?
A fuse is cheaper, smaller and, once you have sized it, entirely reliable. A breaker costs more and gives you a resettable device that doubles as an isolator — genuinely useful on a solar feed or an inverter circuit you want to be able to switch off. Many builds use breakers where they want a switch and fuses everywhere else.
Before you order
Size the breaker to protect the cable, not the appliance. And remember a DIN rail needs mounting somewhere accessible and dry — a breaker you cannot reach is not doing half its job.
