  • 268.8Wh LiFePO4 capacity, 12Ah
  • 300W combined AC and DC output, pure sine wave
  • Turbo charging, 80% in 45 minutes
  • Wearable form factor, ultra slim profile
  • Pairs with the BluePack1 42L backpack, designed around the unit

Power that walks with you

A conversion used as a base for shooting has a specific problem: the power is in the van and the work is two miles away. The Handsfree 1 solves it by making the battery part of what you already carry, so batteries charge while you walk between locations.

Sizing

For a unit that stays in the van, the EB3A offers a 600W inverter for less money. The Handsfree 1 is specified for portability and wearability.

What it runs

LED lighting (10W) 26 hours
12V fan (12W) 21 hours
Laptop on its mains charger (60W) 3.8 hours
Phone charges (15Wh each) About 17 charges
1,500W kettle Exceeds the 300W inverter

Worked out from rated capacity at the average draw shown, allowing 85% inverter efficiency for mains loads and 95% for 12V and USB loads. A kettle boil assumes 1 litre from cold. Real figures vary with temperature, duty cycle and cable losses, so run your own build through the calculator.
