If you intend to deploy a panel regularly rather than leave it out, the difference between carrying 6.5kg and 13kg decides whether it gets used.

Check the voltage of the size you pick

These are not all the same electrically. The 100W runs at Vmp 18.7V — straightforward 12V nominal. The 300W runs at Vmp 25.2V, which needs an MPPT controller to use properly. Match the controller to the version you order rather than assuming they behave alike.

Before you order

Renogy list this page in four sizes; confirm which one you are ordering on their page, since the dimensions, weight and voltages all differ. Maximum series fuse rating is 15A across the range.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0770/1158/3143/files/01_b338219b-3680-4a49-9dcb-7533eab04a97.jpg?v=1789801461
