The thing to plan for is putting it back. At 150A maximum charge current you can run a 60A DC-DC charger and a substantial roof array together without hitting the ceiling, which is what turns a long drive into a genuinely full battery.

Charging in the cold

Renogy quote a 0°C to 60°C charge window on this pack. There is no self-heating here, so below freezing it stops accepting charge until the cells warm. In a heated habitation space that rarely bites; in an underfloor locker through January it will. The self-heating 300Ah is the version that solves it.

Before you order

25kg in a 384 × 194 × 253mm case.
